Welcome to my vision

Windy Prairie Weaving is owned by an Air Force veteran that is passionate about providing funding to programs that provide recreational therapy and equine-assisted services to military veterans and their families. A portion of every basket sale at Utah, Idaho or Wyoming farmer's markets and art shows is donated to Windy Prairie Pathways, a non-profit that believes in the benefits of hiking in nature, being with horses, casting a fishing line and learning the skill of beekeeping.​

Sales of baskets also helps to fund the weaving supplies needed to gift to every veteran in a WPP program a unique fishing creel or Adirondack pack that is personalized, to honor each for the branch of military they served in......Creels of Honor.......Packs of Valor.  

This is Eileen's way of paying it forward, her own way, with her own craftsmanship, because she will never forget being honored and gifted a beautiful handmade blanket in a Quilts of Honor ceremony
